It’s Anti-Bullying Week this week and Bullet PR has recently started working Ditch the Label, a national anti-bullying charity who do really valuable work delivering support to thousands of vulnerable young people both online and offline.
The charity work closely with British schools and colleges providing them with research and advice on key issues. They also provide a virtual “Bullying Support Centre” for the social networking service Habbo Hotel, which is accessed by over 30,000 teens worldwide each week.
Bullet PR carried out the recent PR campaign for Ditch the Label’s Annual Cyberbullying Survey 2013. The results were fantastic, with the story making national news across the UK as well as 17 countries across the globe. Press coverage on the day included features and news stories in The Independent, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Times, The Daily Mirror, The Daily Star, The New York Times, The Times Educational Supplement, MSN, AOL and key regional newspapers across the UK to name but a few.
Broadcast coverage included ITN lunchtime and teatime news, Channel 5 News, Sky News, 5 Live Drive, Radio 1’s Newsbeat, Chinese Central TV and countless regional radio and TV news programmes. Here are a few of the highlights.
